Job description

As the Director of Outreach & Engagement, you’ll lead the transformation of how KLAS connects with healthcare providers—an essential part of our mission. Every data point we share and every insight we deliver begins with a meaningful provider conversation. Your leadership will ensure those connections happen with purpose, speed, and impact—strengthening the relationships that drive better decisions across the healthcare industry.

This is a high-impact leadership role suited for someone who brings deep experience in performance-driven outreach environments and thrives on leading teams, optimizing workflows, and aligning operations with strategic goals.

What You'll Do:

Lead and Develop High-Performing Teams

  • Oversee and support our outreach teams
  • Set clear expectations, drive accountability, and invest in team development
  • Foster a culture focused on quality, data, and provider trust

Drive Operational Excellence

  • Design and refine outreach workflows using platforms like Five9 and Salesforce
  • Lead initiatives to improve outreach conversion rates through a call-first, personalized approach
  • Manage the assignment and tracking of outreach work at the individual level
  • Apply best practices in lead generation to connect with engaged healthcare providers

Execute Strategic Priorities

  • Align outreach operations with KLAS’s organizational goals and key performance metrics
  • Build strong performance visibility, discipline, and clarity across the team
  • Introduce scalable strategies that enhance efficiency and provider engagement

Collaborate Across the Organization

  • Partner closely with research, technology, and operations leaders to streamline processes
  • Support the transition to dynamic, data-driven provider targeting models
  • Champion relationship-centered outreach that balances quality with scale

What You'll Bring

  • 7+ years of operational leadership experience in outreach, contact center, scheduling, or provider engagement environments
  • Proven success in leading teams, managing performance, and optimizing operational systems
  • Hands-on experience with CRM and dialing platforms such as Salesforce and Five9
  • Expertise in lead generation strategy, execution, and improvement
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in business, operations, or healthcare preferred

The salary range for this role starts at $90,000 per year. Final compensation will be determined according to the candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
