Prairie Ridge Health is seeking a qualified individual to join our Patient Care Admin Department as the Director of Outpatient Services. This leadership role requires onsite presence and participation in an on-call rotation. The position oversees clinical operations, programs, and services within outpatient departments.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Outpatient Services (DOS) is responsible for managing clinical operations, developing quality improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and setting strategic and operational goals for outpatient departments. The DOS handles staffing, performance evaluations, resource acquisition, staff development, and team leadership. Critical skills include project management, organization, problem-solving, communication, and conflict resolution. The director also coaches and mentors staff, promotes continuous learning, and fosters strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Current Wisconsin licensure relevant to clinical discipline.
  • Graduate of an accredited clinical program.
  • Bachelor of Science in a health-related field.
  • Master's degree in healthcare or Business Administration required or actively enrolled with expected completion within 18 months.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • 5-10 years of progressive management experience preferred.

Shift: Monday-Friday, days. This role requires onsite work and participation in an on-call rotation.
