Job summary

Qualifications

• Doctorate Pharmacy is required.
• Progressive management experience in a hospital pharmacy (5–7 years).
• Knowledge of pharmacy principles and administration.
• Ability to communicate with physicians, staff and patients.
• Willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pharmacy operations for MLH facilities.
• Plan, direct, and control activities in the Pharmacy department; coordinate across MLH facilities.
• Model MLH Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Develop budgets and monitor financial indicators.
• Lead staff and supervise associates; conduct performance appraisals.
• Participate in formulary coordination and policy development.
• Develop quality improvement programs; ensure QA data reporting.
• Support education activities for medical staff and trainees.
