At April ABA, our clinician-led team brings decades of combined expertise in utilizing evidence-based strategies to change the lives of children with autism. Our mission is to empower children through personalized ABA therapy that helps them receive the building blocks of a brighter future.

We're hiring a Director of Operations to take ownership of all operational functions across April ABA. This role is critical to ensuring our day-to-day runs smoothly, our growth is sustainable, and our families and staff are supported. You will oversee scheduling, hiring, intake, staffing, systems, and team coordination-building the operational engine that enables our clinical teams to deliver care effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all operational workflows, systems, and processes
• Own full-cycle hiring and onboarding for therapists, administrative staff, and clinical support
• Oversee scheduling, staffing, and caseload management across all active markets
• Manage and improve intake operations and client onboarding
• Implement and maintain internal systems, including EHR, scheduling tools, and team communications
• Work cross-functionally with clinical leadership and revenue cycle management to align operations with care delivery and billing
• Develop and track KPIs across ops functions (e.g., time-to-hire, session coverage, retention)
• Hire and manage ops team members as needed to scale with growth
  
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years in operations leadership, ideally in a healthcare or behavioral health setting
• Proven track record managing hiring, staffing, and scheduling in a multi-site or multi-state environment
• Strong systems mindset; comfortable with EHRs, Google Workspace, and process automation tools
• Excellent communicator and cross-functional collaborator
• Able to lead a remote team and thrive in a fast-paced, growing company
