Job summary

Mavagi Enterprises Inc. and EQUIP Enterprises Inc. seek a Director of Operations to oversee daily operations across Texas, Georgia and Florida contract sites.

This is a people-first leadership role reporting to the President/CEO, balancing site-level leadership with executive oversight to ensure dignified, stable jobs for people with disabilities and disabled veterans. The role requires multi-state travel, a passion for disability employment services, and a track record of improving staffing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of multi-site operations management experience, ideally in government contracting, nonprofit, or workforce development.
• Experience leading frontline and mid-level managers.
• Willingness for frequent multi-state travel and a busy travel schedule.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct oversight to the Director of Operations and operations teams across multiple sites.
• Maintain a consistent operational presence across Texas, with travel to Georgia and Florida contract sites.
• Serve as the primary operational liaison between site leadership and executive leadership.
• Champion a compassionate, people-centered culture supporting employees with disabilities and veterans.
• Ensure contract compliance, staffing stability, and high-quality service delivery across all sites.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align operations with the organization's mission.
