Job summary

Material Bank in Olive Branch, MS is seeking a Director of Operations to lead a highly automated distribution center, accountable for end‑to‑end fulfillment across multiple lines and a shared inventory of hundreds of thousands of SKUs.

The role blends hands‑on leadership, data‑driven decisions, and technology initiatives, including robotics, WMS/WES systems, and continuous improvement. Ideal candidate has extensive distribution leadership and a track record of operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in distribution, fulfillment, or supply chain
• 7+ years leading managers and multi‑shift operations
• Experience owning operating budgets and cost metrics
• Experience managing parcel and freight operations
• Strong analytical skills and Excel; BI tools familiarity
• Willingness to work nonstandard hours and lift up to 25 lbs

Responsibilities

• Lead multi‑shift receiving, put‑away, picking, packing, and shipping
• Oversee parcel and freight performance and carrier relations
• Own budgets, labor productivity, and staffing plans
• Drive automation use and SOP compliance
• Develop leadership teams and KPI dashboards
