Israel Policy Forum seeks a Director of Operations to join its operations team in New York. Reporting to the COO, the director will own budgeting and financial coordination and lead operational functions and projects that support the organization’s effectiveness.

This senior nonprofit operations generalist role blends financial management with hands-on administration, audits, vendor management, and system improvements as IPF grows and adapts to evolving priorities.

Formación

• 7+ years of nonprofit operations experience with budgeting and audit coordination.
• Experience coordinating with external accountants, bookkeepers, and auditors.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Ability to explain budgets to non-finance colleagues.
• Commitment to Israel Policy Forum’s mission.

Responsabilidades

• Lead budgeting with the COO and department leaders, forecasting and reporting.
• Coordinate accounts payable and vendor payments; manage coding of expenses.
• Oversee month-end/year-end reporting with outsourced bookkeeper and auditors.
• Lead the annual audit and Form 990 preparation calendar.
• Improve operational workflows, templates, and processes.
