Job description

Join us in pioneering breakthroughs in healthcare. For everyone. Everywhere. Sustainably.

Our inspiring and caring environment forms a global community that celebrates diversity and individuality. We encourage you to step beyond your comfort zone, offering resources and flexibility to foster your professional and personal growth, all while valuing your unique contributions.

Reporting into the Enterprise Services (ES) Operations team, this role is ideal for leaders who have built their careers within Healthcare Systems and are ready to apply that expertise on a broader strategic scale. ES Operations delivers a portfolio of value‑driven solutions—including performance guarantees and advanced technologies powered by Siemens Healthineers—to help transform healthcare delivery for our partners.

As the primary point of contact from the C‑suite through operational leadership, you will guide, sustain, and strengthen the overall health of a strategic partnership. In this role, you will:

  • Provide exceptional customer engagement and support to drive partnership performance.
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience through clear communication and proactive relationship building.
  • Lead strategic engagement across the customer’s organization, including budgeting, asset management, capital planning, procurement, and KPI alignment.
  • Collaborate across business lines to ensure transparency around inputs, outputs, challenges, and risks.
  • Respond efficiently to concerns and support problem resolution.
  • Contribute to broader Enterprise Services Operations initiatives as needed.
Should have:
  • Direct leadership experience within a Healthcare System, such as serving as a manager or director over a clinical or hospital department or service line (e.g., Radiology, Laboratory Services, Cardiovascular, Oncology, Emergency Medicine), or supporting hospital operations, strategy, or business development.
  • A deep understanding of the complex operational, regulatory, research, and educational missions unique to Healthcare Systems, and how they influence clinical workflows, asset utilization, staffing models, and capital planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess clinical asset management needs and develop short- and long-term operational and capital plans—including technical/clinical performance management, skill development, operational execution excellence, and compliance oversight.
  • Strong working knowledge of health system service line operations, particularly within environments that manage multi-site academic practices and large-scale procedural departments.
  • A results‑driven mindset, with the ability to balance customer impact, clinical quality, and business objectives.
  • Strong project management capabilities and ability to prioritize and lead multiple initiatives in fast-paced, high-acuity settings.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage executives, clinical leaders, and frontline teams.

Required qualifications for success in this role:
  • BS/BA in a medical field, engineering/technology, healthcare/business administration, or related healthcare discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience within a Healthcare System, whether through direct clinical department management or hospital operations/business development.
  • Experience in clinical administration or healthcare institution leadership.
  • Ability to travel up to 15%.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Polished, professional presence and strong executive communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and business acumen, including familiarity with P&L management, capital & operational planning, and resource stewardship.
  • Ability to assess business situations using a general manager perspective, with strengths in structured problem solving and critical thinking.
  • Proven success implementing innovative solutions for clinical or operational challenges, with the ability to navigate organizational complexity typical of Healthcare Systems.
  • Experience evaluating client commercial capabilities and identifying opportunities for growth, optimization, or process improvement.
  • Adaptability to changing client needs, cost initiatives, policy shifts, and evolving healthcare landscapes.
  • A naturally curious, continuous‑learning mindset.
  • PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
