MAC Incorporated in Collegeville, PA seeks a Director of Operations to lead day-to-day manufacturing and engineering for a metals-focused fabrication environment. This onsite role requires a strong background in engineering-to-order projects and managing Safety, Quality, and Delivery.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in manufacturing/ops, 5+ years leading multiple departments, and hands-on leadership on the shop floor.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is required.
• 10+ years of manufacturing/operations experience.
• 5+ years leading plant operations or multiple departments.
• Experience in engineer-to-order or custom fabrication environments.
• Strong metal fabrication exposure preferred (steel, aluminum, millwork).
• Hands-on leader with shop floor presence and Lean experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Engineering, Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Shipping/Receiving operations.
• Develop supervisors, managers, and hourly production teams.
• Own plant performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
• Drive OSHA compliance, safety training, and incident investigations.
• Plan capacity, staffing, fabrication, materials, and workflow to meet lead times.
• Drive improvements in quality, defects, rework, and equipment reliability.
• Establish and manage KPIs; lead Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage budgets, labor, overtime, materials, and operating expenses.
• Identify and manage capital equipment and facility projects.
