Job summary

The Skinny Pancake is seeking a Director of Operations to lead restaurant performance and develop strong leaders across Vermont, New York and Massachusetts. This strategic, hands-on role partners with the CEO and requires spending time in restaurants to coach teams and translate priorities into execution.

You will drive profitability, guest experience, and consistency by coaching GMs, reviewing P&Ls, and strengthening systems as the company grows across locations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive restaurant leadership experience.
• Successful General Manager and multi-unit leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of restaurant P&Ls and unit economics.
• Demonstrated success improving sales, labor, food cost and profitability.
• Willingness to travel regularly among restaurant locations.
• Comfort operating in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment.

Reports to: CEO

The Skinny Pancake is a mission-driven, multi-unit restaurant company operating across Vermont, New York and Massachusetts. We are looking for an experienced Director of Operations to lead restaurant performance, develop strong leaders and help us build a more consistent, profitable and scalable operation.

This is a strategic and hands-on role. You will partner closely with the CEO while spending significant time in our restaurants—coaching leaders, solving problems and making sure company priorities translate into strong execution.

This is not a desk job. We are looking for someone who understands what is happening in the restaurants and knows how to turn that insight into better performance.

What You’ll Own

• Overall performance of our restaurants, including sales, labor, food cost, profitability and guest experience
