Job summary

Kimpton Sylvan Hotel in Atlanta is seeking an experienced operations leader to support the General Manager across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Finance, Sales and Maintenance. You will help execute the property’s strategic plan and ensure guest satisfaction and financial goals are met.

As an Executive Committee member, you will lead department heads, develop budgets and forecasts, implement controls, and manage labor with scheduling tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of management experience, preferably in both Rooms and F&B.
• Computer literacy and financial management required.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, including marketing plans, security and safety programs, personnel and labor relations, and budget forecasting.
• Ability to resolve guest, supervisor, and associate conflicts.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all operational managers to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and annual goals aligned to the property strategy.
• Plan, organize, participate in meetings, and ensure compliance with brand SOPs.
• Develop and manage Rooms/F&B division budgets and revenue forecasts; control expenses.
• Interview, hire, train, develop, and evaluate staff; recommend discipline when needed.
• As Executive Committee member, help create and execute hotel financial objectives.
• Ensure attendance rules are followed and be available to work regularly.

Act as General Manager in his/her absence when necessary.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead all operational managers to success on daily, weekly, monthly and annual action plans related to property strategic plan.Plan, organize, facilitate, attend, and/or participate in various hotel and departmental meetings. •Ensure compliance of brand standard operating procedures and policies.Develop and manage execution of Rooms/Food and Beverage division budgets and revenue forecasts. Develop and implement controls for expense management.
