Aramark SeniorLIFE+ has an immediate opening for a Director of Nutrition & Wellness. This is a remote role with 75% travel.

The Director of Nutrition & Wellness is responsible for providing key leadership to the clinical team, fostering strong business relationships, and developing strategic approaches with operations while focusing on clinical excellence, training, and regulatory compliance. They will ensure full implementation of Aramark’s standards, programs, procedures, and policies, including clinical nutrition and resident care management. They will be accountable for the success, effectiveness, on-time delivery, and business outcomes of the clinical nutrition program.

Job Responsibilities
  • Incorporate latest Wellness & Longevity industry trends into the business through systematic training and development.
  • Lead a team of Regional Nutrition Care Managers.
  • Collaborate with operations on problem solving, client requests, and business needs.
  • Focus on Long-term care regulations and CMS updates, effectively communicating and implementing regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure full implementation of standards, procedures, and policies related to clinical nutrition and patient care.
  • Work with operations to manage implementation checklists and documentation for activation processes.
  • Establish effective relationships with facility departments to coordinate patient/resident care.
  • Identify challenges and opportunities to enable delivery with speed and agility.
  • Provide necessary training and troubleshoot program implementation challenges.
  • Identify, resolve, and escalate issues as needed, with mid-course corrections.
  • Validate plan execution and outcomes, managing risks and addressing concerns proactively.
  • Continuously seek improvements in effectiveness and efficiency, leveraging best practices.
  • Build trust and credibility with stakeholders, acting as an operator advocate.
  • Use influence strategies to shape behaviors without formal authority.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse audiences, utilizing subject matter expertise to expedite actions.
Qualifications
  • Registered Dietitian with active registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration; state licensure as required.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in acute care clinical nutrition, with multi-site responsibilities preferred. Familiarity with MealTracker or similar software, including Point Click Care, is a plus.
  • Knowledge of clinical nutrition programs, regulatory compliance, and professional standards.
  • Ability to develop a professional growth plan, participating in relevant organizations and training programs.
  • Willing to travel 75% of the time and perform related duties as required.
