Position Overview

We are hiring a Director of Nursing Services to join our dynamic care team at Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in North Easton!

Southeast Rehab is a 171-bed skilled nursing facility located at 184 Lincoln Street. This is a salaried role with weekly pay.

Responsibilities

1. Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of our Nursing Services Department in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
2. Develop and review clinical policies and procedures.
3. Establish a nursing service organizational structure.
4. Determine staffing needs and oversee licensed nursing staff.
5. Develop work assignments, schedules, and on-call programs.
6. Conduct daily rounds and inspections of nursing units.
7. Review resident and family satisfaction and assist in infection control efforts.
8. Ensure compliance with safety standards and participate in safety and infection control committees.
9. Coordinate mandatory in-service education and maintain documentation.
10. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

1. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; B.S.N. preferred.
2. Current, unrestricted RN license in the state.
3. CPR certification; Gerontology certification preferred.
4. At least one year of experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing and one year in nursing administration.
5. Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
