Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Director of Nursing (RN or LPN) in Council Bluffs, IA. The DON will oversee Nursing Services, ensure quality care, and supervise the nursing team around the clock.

The ideal candidate is licensed as an RN or LPN in the state, with 2 years of nurse supervisory experience and a preferred associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role with opportunities for growth and development.

Qualifications

• Two years of nurse supervisory experience required.
• Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school preferred.

Responsabilités

• Administer and manage Nursing Services for residents according to physician orders and resident needs.
• Provide 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and oversee the Nursing Department to maintain care standards.
• In the absence of the Administrator, assume responsibility for center operations.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As a Director of Nursing | DON | RN, you will be responsible for the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with orders of the physicians and the total needs of the residents. You will also be responsible for 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care. In the absence of the Administrator, you will assume responsibility for center operations.

Do You Have What It Takes?

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state in which you are practicing
• Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school preferred
• Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required
• Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role required
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
