Job summary

Windemere Park Health and Rehabilitation Center seeks a Director of Nursing to lead the Nursing Service Department in a long-term care setting. You will plan, organize, and direct operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and delivering high-quality resident care.

The ideal candidate has a nursing degree, RN license, CPR certification, and at least three years of supervisory experience in a nursing home.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum three years of supervisory experience in a nursing home.
• Current unrestricted RN license in the practicing state.
• Knowledgeable of nursing practices and regulations for long-term care.
• Current CPR certification.

Director of Nursing needed for a Nursing home. We are currently seeking a strong and experienced Director of Nursing!! We offer competitive benefits.

Responsibilities

Planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operations of the Nursing Service Department in accordance with local, state and federal standards and regulations, established facility policies and procedures and as may be directed by the Administrator and the Medical Director, to provide appropriate care and services to the residents.

Required Qualifications

• A Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.

• Must have, as a minimum, three (3) years of experience as a supervisor in a nursing home.

• Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in practicing state.

• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.

• Current CPR certification.
