Job summary

Windemere Park Health and Rehabilitation Center seeks a Director of Nursing to lead the Nursing Service Department in a skilled nursing facility. The candidate will plan, organize, and direct operations, ensuring care quality and regulatory compliance, under the direction of the Administrator and Medical Director.

We require an RN with a degree from an accredited program, 3+ years of supervisory experience in a nursing home, a current RN license, CPR certification, and knowledge of long-term

• Current unrestricted RN license in practicing state.
• Knowledgeable of long-term care laws and regulations.
• Current CPR certification.

Director of Nursing needed for a Nursing home. We are currently seeking a strong and experienced Director of Nursing!! We offer competitive benefits.

Responsibilities:

Planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operations of the Nursing Service Department in accordance with local, state and federal standards and regulations, established facility policies and procedures and as may be directed by the Administrator and the Medical Director, to provide appropriate care and services to the residents.

Required Qualifications

• A Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.

• Must have, as a minimum, three (3) years of experience as a supervisor in a nursing home.

• Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in practicing state.

• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.

• Current CPR certification.
