Job summary

Edinboro Manor in Edinboro, PA is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead the nursing department, ensure resident care meets high standards, and coordinate care through staff committees.

The DON will oversee staffing, regulatory compliance, QA participation, and staff development while upholding state and federal regulations and fostering compassionate service to residents.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse with the State Board of Nursing.
• CPR certification recommended.

• Ensures that staffing is adequate to meet State and Federal requirements
• Guides nursing department in adherence to all state and federal regulations

• Ensures availability of nursing supplies and equipment
• Assumes responsibility for maintaining his/her own professional competence
• Verifies that the nursing personnel have valid and current licenses as required by the State in which they work

Description

Position Summary:
