Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Bunkie seeks a Director of Nursing to oversee all aspects of psychiatric nursing services. The role includes supervising RNs, LPNs, and mental health workers, and ensuring high-quality nursing care within each patient’s active treatment program.

You will lead care plan development, teaching on medications, and management of the therapeutic milieu, while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• MSN oversight strongly preferred.
• Current RN license in Louisiana in good standing.

Responsabilités

• Oversee psychiatric nursing services and supervise RNs, LPNs, and MH workers.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized psychiatric nursing care plans.
• Provide leadership and ongoing training for all nursing and mental health staff.
