Anchor Post Acute in Aiken, SC invites an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team. The DON will drive clinical operations, mentor staff, and uphold resident-centered care in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an Accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in good standing with the State Board.
• Minimum of 7 years nurse management experience preferred.
• Strong clinical knowledge of long-term care regulations and standards.
• Leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a nursing team.
• Commitment to resident-centered care and regulatory compliance.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and passion for helping others succeed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing department staffing and operations.
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures.
• Ensure resident safety, dignity, and quality of care.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop nursing staff.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and facility policies.
• Monitor quality outcomes, QA initiatives, and infection control.
• Collaborate with leadership, physicians, residents, and families.
• Coordinate MDS and care planning; manage budgeting and reporting.
