Laurels of Coldwater in Coldwater, MI is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the nursing department, ensure quality resident care, and regulatory compliance. The DON serves as a key member of the facility's leadership team, driving clinical excellence and staff development.

As a central figure in the leadership team, you will supervise RNs and LPNs, supervise supervisory staff, and promote a culture of safety and resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required or preferred.
• Progressive nursing leadership experience in long-term care.
• Knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsabilités

• Supervises nursing care provided by RNs and LPNs.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and quality of care.
• Plans, assigns and directs work; prepares schedules and evaluations.
• Interviews, hires and trains staff; handles disciplinary actions.
• Oversees facility operations in the absence of higher management.
