Legacy Healthcare in Baltimore, MD seeks a compassionate Director of Nursing to lead the SNF nursing team, ensure safe, high-quality resident care, and maintain regulatory compliance. You will partner with the Administrator and Medical Director, coach RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, oversee staffing, documentation, infection control, and quality initiatives while fostering a positive, resident-centered culture.

Competenze

• Current RN license in the state of employment.
• Previous nursing leadership experience in SNF/LTC or post-acute setting preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.

Mansioni

• Direct and oversee daily nursing department operations.
• Lead, coach, and support RNs, LPNs/LVNs, CNAs, and other nursing personnel.
• Ensure quality, compassionate, and resident-centered care.
• Monitor clinical outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, assignments, and nursing coverage.
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Monitor infection prevention and control practices.
• Assist with QAPI initiatives.
• Prepare the nursing department for state surveys and regulatory reviews.
• Address resident and family concerns professionally and promptly.
• Monitor compliance with facility policies and regulations.
• Conduct staff education, training, and performance coaching.
• Collaborate with the Administrator and leadership team.
• Promote a positive culture of teamwork, accountability, and respect.
