Job Summary :

Seeking a Director of Nursing for Labor & Delivery at Methodist Hospital. The role involves facilitating, coordinating, and delegating patient care during hospitalization. The director provides leadership and overall responsibility for the clinical unit(s), managing staff and resources to ensure high-quality patient care. Job Responsibilities:

The Director reports to the Senior Director, Vice President, and/or the Chief Nursing Officer. Responsibilities include 24/7 accountability for 143 staff, 40-50 beds, and patient care management. The role involves promoting professional nursing practices, resource management, liaising with physicians and staff, and implementing process improvements.

Qualifications Needed:

• Three years of recent RN acute care experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Five years of L&D experience in an acute care setting.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience in L&D in an acute care setting.
• Must have L&D experience; experience in other units is not acceptable.
