Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead nursing services for our residents, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with physician orders. The DON will supervise nursing staff on a 24-hour basis and coordinate center operations in the administrator's absence.
Ideal candidates hold an RN license and a nursing degree, with LTC/SNF/AL/MC experience and strong communication skills.
Qualifications
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state where you practice.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
- Two years of nurse supervisory experience required.
- Prior LTC/SNF/AL/MC experience required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Two years of nurse supervisory experience is required.
- Professional image in appearance and behavior.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Responsabilités
- Administer and manage Nursing Services to residents in accordance with physicians' orders and resident needs.
- Provide 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and direct the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care.
- In the absence of the Administrator, assume responsibility for center operations.

As a Director of Nursing | DON | RN, you will be responsible for the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with orders of the physicians and the total needs of the residents. You will also be responsible for 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care. In the absence of the Administrator, you will assume responsibility for center operations.
- A fire and passion for working with seniors
- A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state in which you are practicing
- Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred
- Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required
- Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role required
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
