Job summary

A leading senior care community in South Seattle is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON / DNS) to oversee the Skilled Nursing department. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a hospitality mindset, and a commitment to providing exceptional care. This role requires an RN license in Washington and a minimum of 3 years of experience in geriatrics, preferably in a director capacity.

Qualifications

  • Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WA with a current license.
  • At least 3 years of experience working in geriatrics as a DON or ADON.
  • Previous Director of Nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Skilled Nursing department and ensure quality care.
  • Lead, mentor, and provide oversight for the care team.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and State and Federal regulations.

We are currently accepting applications for a Director of Nursing (DON / DNS ). This position is with a very reputable and high-end Senior Care community located in the South Seattle area. The Director of Nursing needs to possess the leadership ability to manage the Skilled Nursing department, while ensuring that the best possible care and services are provided for the residents. Key responsibilities include leading, mentoring, and providing oversight for the care team, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as State and Federal regulations. Must have a demonstrated history of excellent survey results, good tenure, a hospitality mindset, as well as a customer service focused approach to care. Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WA with a current license, and have at least 3 years of experience working in geriatrics as a DON or ADON. Previous Director of Nursing experience in a SNF is strongly preferred.
