Schedule: Full-Time | Weekdays with on-call coordination

We’re hiring a Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee clinical operations within Henrico County Jail. In this leadership role, you’ll manage nursing and clerical staff, support public health access, and ensure compliance with medical standards for inmates in custody.

What You’ll Do

• Supervise LPNs and administrative support staff.
• Coordinate scheduling, coverage, and care access.
• Monitor documentation and QA standards across medical operations.
• Liaise with the Jail Health Program Liaison and security staff.
• Implement infection control and performance tracking.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in Virginia.
• At least 3 years clinical experience (1+ in supervision).
• Strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills.
