Minimum Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Louisiana
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 3 years of psychiatric nursing experience and at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• knowledge of professional nursing principles, procedures and techniques used in the care and treatment of psychiatric patients.
• Social, psychological and physical factors of mental and emotional disorders.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or related field
• Experience in a behavioral health setting
• Certification in nursing administration or national certification as a Psychiatric Nurse.
