Position Summary

Position: Director of Nursing (DON)

As the Director of Nursing (DON), you will be responsible for overseeing the overall quality of clinical outcomes within the community. Your primary focus will be on delivering quality care, excellent customer service, and fostering positive employee relations. Additionally, you will manage regulatory compliance, attract and retain top talent, and supervise and coach existing staff members.

We seek an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our caregiving team. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of nursing care, prioritizing safety, security, and patient wellness. Our goal is to provide the best possible care while ensuring patient satisfaction in every interaction. The DON must embody these values and ensure they are reflected in their staff at all times.

Posted Salary Range

USD $105,000.00 - USD $120,000.00 /Yr.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Support nursing practices, philosophy, objectives, and standards, and participate in revising these to ensure quality care for all patients/residents.
2. Ensure the implementation of patient/resident care planning processes in compliance with individual needs, facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be a skilled communicator, leader, and motivator.
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
• Desire to enrich the lives of residents and staff.
• At least 4 years of experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) in long-term care, with a stable work history, dedication, and leadership commitment.
• RN license in the state of residency; BSN preferred.
• Proven ability to maintain positive relationships with employees and the community.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Excellent computer skills and willingness to learn new systems.
• Knowledge of reimbursement regulations, nursing practices, and procedures.
• Ability to adhere to all applicable policies, procedures, and standards set by federal, state, and local authorities governing long-term care facilities.
• Ability to respond appropriately to emergency situations when required.
