Job summary

Cooney Healthcare & Rehabilitation is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead our nursing services and drive a culture of clinical excellence, accountability, and resident-centered care. This role requires strategic oversight of nursing operations, coaching of management and frontline staff, and rigorous regulatory compliance to maximize resident outcomes.

DIRECTOR OF NURSING (DON) Cooney Healthcare & Rehabilitation

Salary: $125,000 - $135,000 annually

What You'll Do

• Provide strategic oversight of all nursing operations
• Lead, coach, and develop nursing management and frontline staff
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

What We're Looking For

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Previous nursing leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care
• Strong regulatory and survey knowledge
• Exceptional leadership and team-building skills
• Proven ability to improve clinical outcomes and staff engagement
