The Director of Nursing – Children's Services has its Advantages
As the Director of Nursing (Children’s Services) at Devereux, you will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. We offer:
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health New York provides programs and services for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and dual diagnoses. Located in Red Hook, NY, this position is responsible for coordinating the overall medical services for the children’s programs at Devereux. They will coordinate the scheduling and provision of medical services, including on-site nursing, consulting services, and off-site clinical visits and pharmaceutical services. In addition, this position will oversee all nursing mandates required by OPWDD and NYS standards. They will provide or delegate in-services to staff or in-services relating to seizures, medications, first-aid, and other health-related needs of our population. They will assist in the budget preparation for the Medical Department and administer the budget as approved by the Executive Director. This position will participate in administrative meetings, committees and other meetings pertinent to the health care and safety of our individuals. They will also be responsible for supervision and performance evaluations for the medical staff.
Salary: $99,338 - $108,278 annually

Qualifications
EDUCATION: RN or BS in Nursing and successful completion of the State Board Examination for licensing.
EXPERIENCE: Three to five years experience in human services, two of which shall be in a supervisory position. Psychiatric nursing background preferred.
