Join us as the Director of Nursing, AF1EDRCTRNURSI at College of DuPage

The College of DuPage, located 27 miles west of downtown Chicago, has been dedicated to student success and community engagement for over 50 years. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Administer and supervise all Nursing programs, faculty, simulation labs, and support staff.
  • Report directly to the Dean of Nursing and Health Sciences.
  • Lead recruitment, hiring, evaluation, and assignment of nursing faculty.
  • Manage nursing program budgets, accreditation, clinical site procurement, and external relations.
  • Oversee curriculum, student progress, and program outcomes.
  • Prepare reports for regulatory and accreditation bodies, and lead self-study and site visits.
  • Promote departmental efficiency, organize bi-annual ceremonies, and chair relevant committees.
  • Address faculty and student needs, provide conflict resolution, and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution (required).
  • Current Illinois RN license or license-eligible (required).
  • Doctoral Degree in Nursing or related field (preferred).
  • Experience: At least 3 years as an RN and in teaching; 2 years in management; experience with accreditation processes preferred.
