Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing (or related field).
• 0+ years of gerontological nursing experience.
• Strong leadership and management skills with experience in developing and implementing effective strategies and operations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
• Strong commitment to quality patient care and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services that meet or exceed regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement annual departmental goals, objectives, and budgets in collaboration with the Executive Director and other department heads.
• Foster a positive and respectful work environment that promotes staff growth, development, and engagement.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated care for our residents.
• Supervise and evaluate performance of nursing staff, including LPNs, RNs, and caregivers.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare providers.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, and implement changes as necessary.
