Responsibilities :
o Lead, mentor, and manage the nursing staff, including registered nurses (RNs), licensed practical nurses (LPNs), and nursing assistants.
o Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support professional development for nursing staff.
o Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance patient care and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
o Oversee the assessment, planning, and implementation of resident care plans to ensure high standards of care.
o Monitor and evaluate the quality of care delivered, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
o Ensure appropriate documentation and accurate reporting of patient health status and care provided.
o Ensure that the facility adheres to all state, federal, and local regulations, including the guidelines set by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
o Prepare for and participate in inspections, audits, and accreditation processes.
o Manage nursing department budgets, including staffing levels, equipment, and supplies. o Ensure the efficient use of resources while maintaining high standards of care.
o Work closely with other departments, including administration, therapy, and dietary services, to coordinate comprehensive care for residents.
o Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and community partners.

Qualifications :o RN required, Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
o Minimum of INSERT PREFERENCE HEREyears of nursing experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility, with at least INSERT PREFERENCE HEREyear in a management or leadership role.
o Proven track record of successfully managing a nursing department and improving patient care outcomes.
o Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
o Certification in Nursing Administration (e.g., CDONA, LNCC) preferred.
