Job summary

Avantara Milbank in Milbank, SD, is seeking a compassionate Director of Nursing to lead the Nursing Department. You will work with Unit Managers and the Administrator to drive success and uphold the facility's quality standards.

The ideal candidate holds a current SD nursing license, has long-term care experience, and demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to inspire the clinical team and ensure excellent resident care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered State of South Dakota license to practice.
• Nursing experience; preferable in the long-term care setting.
• Leadership competencies including developed interpersonal and communication skills, critical thinking, and the ability to inspire and operate effectively at all levels.
• Must reside in Milbank or surrounding areas, or be willing to relocate to the Milbank, South Dakota area.
