Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a full-time Director of Nursing at Indiana Women’s Prison in Indianapolis. The role oversees clinical and educational supervision of the nursing team within a correctional setting, collaborating with medical leadership to enhance inmate health care.

Indiana RN license or licensure eligibility is required, with CPR current and security clearance potential. Prospective candidates should have nursing leadership experience, prefer corrections exposure, and be able to obtain a

• Active RN license in Indiana or ability to obtain license
• Experience leading nursing teams in healthcare settings
• Current CPR certification
• Corrections experience preferred, not required
• Ability to obtain security clearance including drug screen and background check

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical, educational and professional supervision for nursing and support staff in a correctional environment
• Collaborate with mental health/medical leadership and multidisciplinary team to improve inmate health care
• Oversee nursing operations to ensure quality patient care and regulatory compliance
• Partner with contract manager and facility leadership to meet organizational goals
