Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Director of Nursing for the Plainfield Correctional Facility in Plainfield, Indiana. The DON will provide clinical, educational, and professional supervision for nursing and support staff in a correctional setting.

This role collaborates with medical leadership to improve health care for incarcerated patients and ensure regulatory compliance. Indiana RN license required; BSN preferred; strong leadership and the ability to obtain security clearance are

Qualifications

• Indiana RN license or ability to obtain license.
• BSN strongly preferred for leadership role.
• Previous nursing leadership experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification and ability to obtain security clearance.

We are currently seeking a full-time Director of Nursing to join our team at Plainfield Correctional Facility located in Plainfield, Indiana.

The Director of Nursing is responsible for providing clinical, educational and professional supervision for nursing and support staff in the correctional environment. Works under the direction of the contract manager and collaborates with mental health/medical leadership and other members of the multidisciplinary team to improve health care of incarcerated patients.

Qualifications

• Indiana RN license or ability to obtain license


• BSN strongly preferred


• Previous nursing leadership experience preferred


• Current CPR


• Corrections experience preferred, not required


• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
