Job summary

Momentous Health at Battle Creek is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead nursing services and support a welcoming team. You will monitor nursing care to residents and ensure CMS and state guidelines are followed, while directing policy implementation.

You will manage staffing levels, coordinate supplies and the budget, oversee infection control, and conduct staff education through mandatory in-services. Ohio RN licensure and a minimum of three years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• Monitor and ensure nursing care per CMS, State and Company guidelines.
• Oversee clinical policies and procedures and direct implementation.
• Follow up on concerns from residents and family members.
• Evaluate staffing levels to ensure proper care.
• Oversee infection control procedures for resident and staff safety.
• Coordinate purchasing, monitor budget, code invoices.
• Assist in establishing high quality resident care; daily rounds.
• Investigate incidents, falls, and skin issues per policy.
• Conduct mandatory in-services and staff orientation.

• Coordinates purchasing of supplies, monitoring budget and validating and coding invoices.
• Assist in establishing a high quality of resident care; performs daily rounds
• Assists with the investigations of all incidents, falls, skin, elopements in compliance with policy and procedures
• Conduct and documents mandatory in-services and orientation for all staff

EXPERIENCE:

• RN License in the state of Ohio
• Minimum three years’ experience preferred
