This role involves managing the operational aspects of our Natural Gas Engineering Program for utility clients across the country. Responsibilities include tracking deliverables, creating management strategies, and monitoring contract milestones through performance reports. Key duties encompass preparing client proposals, issuing formal notices, generating billing documents, addressing contract compliance issues, staying informed about policy changes, and presenting updates to senior leadership.

The role also includes coordinating tasks, setting priorities, mentoring staff, and guiding our Departmental leadership team. This team manages employees across Orbital’s nationwide natural gas engineering and operations programs. They handle engineering, calculations, inspections, designs, and operational support for natural gas projects. Additionally, staff support GIS data analysis, prepare notifications, work orders, invoices, and financial reports using enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.

  • Communicate with the contracting partner to resolve inconsistencies. Transfer information to the mapping group for import into the appropriate GIS system.
  • Prepare, review, and approve proposals and project estimates for new client projects.
  • Provide input and collaborate with workgroup leadership on updates and revisions to associated contracts, policies, and rates.
