A leading hospitality company seeks a Director of National Sales to drive group business for their luxury resort. This remote-based role focuses on managing client relationships, generating sales opportunities, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership, teamwork, and a strong customer focus while collaborating with internal departments and promoting the hotel at events.
The Director of National Sales at Waldorf Astoria Grand Wailea plays a key role in driving group business by serving as the primary liaison between the hotel and prospective clients. This individual is responsible for generating new sales opportunities, managing client relationships, and ensuring a seamless transition from sales to event execution.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing sales inquiries and proactively prospecting and qualifying new leads.
Soliciting and securing group business for guestrooms, meeting space, and food & beverage services.
Conducting client entertainment and site inspections, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and finalizing bookings.
Collaborating closely with internal departments to ensure delivery of contracted services and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Creating and executing strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed room night and revenue goals.
Representing and promoting the hotel at trade shows, client events, and through business travel.
Partnering with Hilton Global Sales to manage key global accounts and expand reach within designated markets.
This role will be responsible for group sales within the Southeast, Southwest, and Canada markets.
Location: Remote-based role, with a strong preference for candidates located in Texas.

Compensation for this role is $90k - 120K and is based on applicable experience and location.
