The candidate will oversee validation activities, collaborate with governance partners, and advance quantitative methods including AI/ML to align with regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Statistics.
• Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field is preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in quantitative modeling or model risk management.
• 3+ years in a direct management or supervisory role.
• Experience with advanced machine learning and model validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the model validation function across retail lending and mortgage portfolios.
• Develop governance standards for consumer banking models.
• Provide analysis and reports to senior management.
• Perform independent validations, change reviews, and ongoing monitoring.
• Maintain relationships with model users and governance partners.
• Improve quantitative modeling approaches, including AI and ML.
• Stay current with regulatory developments affecting model risk management.
