Job Details: Job Location: Support Solutions Memphis - Memphis, TN 38134, GENERAL FUNCTION:

The Director of Mental Health services will work directly with the CEO/COO in overseeing all mental health services across the state of Tennessee.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Oversees all Mental Health services.
• Leads development effort in mental health services.
• Ensures State regulations are met and followed for all mental health services.
• Helps identify and address organizational development issues that impact effectiveness.
• Assists in designing strategies and actions focused on attracting, retaining, and increasing Support Solutions services throughout Tennessee.
• Recommends Shon and long range development plans and programs that support the company's values and general objectives.
• Represents Support Solutions with external groups as assigned.
• Works with the CEO, COO and the Director of Quality in managing Requests for Proposals (RFP's)/contract submissions or other required operational and financial data submissions.
• Assists with marketing efforts for all Mental Health services.
• Serves as liaison for Employment and Community First CHOICES and Therap.
• Other duties as assigned by the CEO and/or COO.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

• Exhibits behaviors and best practices that are consistent with the vision and values of Support Solutions.
• Practices safe work habits to eliminate and control potential safety and health hazards and to maintain a safe work environment. Attends all safety training as scheduled.
• Work as part of the team to ensure that Support Solutions Quality Management principles (plan; Measure; Assess; Improve) are practiced and achieved.
• Operates Support Solutions and personal transportation in a safe and healthy.
• Performs other job-related duties as may be assigned by designated and/or authorized staff.

Qualifications: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

A Master’s degree in Public Administration, Business Management, or clinical discipline is preferred. Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree in one of these fields, combined with a minimum of five years of experience in the mental health field, is required. Must have functional computer knowledge. Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record throughout employment with Support Solutions. Must meet state and local requirements regarding criminal background check, sexual offender check, abuse registry, and felony offender listing. Must meet all training requirements and keep training current.
