About Us

The Lotus Society is an invitation-only community uniting the top 3% of healthcare and wellness leaders shaping the future of menopause care.

To support this vision, we are seeking a Director of Member Recruitment—a strategic, discerning leader to identify and engage exceptional individuals who align with our mission and meet our uncompromising standards of excellence.

Who We’re Looking For

As Director of Member Recruitment, you won’t just oversee recruitment, you will personally own it from day one. In the early stages, you are the team. You will personally identify, engage, and recruit exceptional leaders, those shaping the future of their fields. You’ll be the first point of contact, building direct relationships with these founding members and setting the gold standard for outreach, tone, and experience. This is a high-touch, high-responsibility role where your discernment, communication skills, and strategic sourcing ability will directly shape the identity and influence of our community.

As we grow, you’ll evolve this function—codifying best practices, optimizing systems, and building a world-class team to scale our recruitment globally. You’ll partner with leadership to refine curation criteria, align with broader initiatives, and ensure every touchpoint reflects a white-glove, high-touch experience.

This role is ideal for a strategic, discerning, and charismatic operator who thrives in both fast-moving execution and vision—someone who can move from personal outreach to global leadership with elegance, speed, and impeccable judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute a targeted global recruitment strategy that reflects our brand’s prestige and identifies transformational talent.
  • Define and refine curation standards in partnership with executive leadership to uphold the integrity of the member experience.
  • Source and engage top-tier leaders across medicine, media, wellness, research, and corporate innovation through personalized, relationship-based outreach.
  • Map key networks, communities, fellowships, industry bodies, and influence spheres—proactively building sourcing pipelines that anticipate where next-generation leaders are emerging.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring leadership trends, emerging voices, and untapped talent pools across relevant sectors.
  • Lead recruitment of early-stage members personally, while building and managing a team of world-class recruiters as we scale.
  • Deliver a seamless, white-glove journey from outreach to onboarding, in collaboration with Community Managers and operational teams.
  • Own recruitment performance metrics, optimizing pipeline health, conversion rates, and strategic targeting using CRM and insights tools.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with community, events, and editorial teams to ensure thematic alignment across outreach efforts.
  • Amplify visibility and reach by partnering with our Social Media Manager to showcase members, campaigns, and content reflective of our elevated brand.
  • Represent our values—discretion, integrity, and excellence—in every touchpoint.

Who You Are

  • A strategic and discerning operator with 5+ years of experience in high-touch recruitment, talent strategy, or executive search (luxury, membership, or prestige networks a plus).
  • A master sourcer and connector who instinctively knows where and how to find transformational leaders—and has the creativity, persistence, and discernment to engage them directly.
  • A high EQ communicator with the ability to connect deeply and authentically with influential leaders and discerning professionals.
  • A systems-minded builder—organized, data-fluent, and capable of creating scalable recruitment frameworks and processes.
  • A tastemaker and curator with an intuitive sense for leadership potential, cultural alignment, and brand fit.
  • A proactive, polished self-starter and collaborator who can own outcomes, lead a team, and partner across departments with polish and precision.
  • A believer in our mission—and in the power of community to shape the future.

What Success looks like in the first 12 months - BONUS Benchmarks

  • You will have sourced, engaged, and curated a transformational founding member base that reflects our brand’s prestige, diversity, and future-shaping ethos—without reliance on external recruiters or agencies.
  • You will have built a strategic sourcing ecosystem, mapping key networks, institutions, and influence hubs across wellness, healthcare, research, media, and innovation sectors.
  • You will have designed and refined an operationally excellent member acquisition pipeline, balancing data-driven rigor with personalized, white-glove member experiences.
  • You will have personally developed deep, trust-based relationships with high-profile members and industry leaders, representing our brand with discretion, polish, and authenticity.
  • You will have laid the foundation for a high-performing internal recruitment function, identifying early team needs, processes, and growth strategies aligned with scaling our membership community.
  • You will have collaborated cross-functionally across community, content, events, and marketing, ensuring seamless integration of the member journey into the broader brand ecosystem.

Why Join Us

  • Be part of a groundbreaking movement to redefine professional excellence.
  • Shape the member experience from the inside out, helping us build the most prestigious network of its kind.
  • Work alongside a visionary, cross-functional team of builders, creators, and connectors.
  • Competitive compensation, growth opportunity, and a culture of deep respect, autonomy, and aspiration.
