Job summary

Indiana University Health seeks a Director of Clinical Operations for Maternity Services to lead the strategic and operational direction of the unit, aligning care center goals with the system-wide mission. You will oversee quality, safety and service excellence while guiding resource stewardship across teams.

The role requires strong collaboration with clinical and operational leaders to advance patient experiences, outcomes, and sustainable care delivery, with potential 24-hour accountability

Qualifications

• Masters of Nursing or related field is required or actively enrolled.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC RN license.
• Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit policies.
• Clinical Specialty Professional Certification within 1 year of eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic and operational direction of Maternity Services.
• Provide administrative leadership for a multidisciplinary care center.
• Partner with leaders to develop and execute business and unit plans.
