Essential

Ritual is seeking a collaborative and strategic leader to shape and scale our presence across Amazon, TikTok Shop, and key omni-channel retail media platforms (Target.com, Instacart, etc.). In this role, you’ll drive strategic growth, performance marketing, and operational efficiency, ensuring Ritual’s digital retail ecosystem is set up for long-term success. As the owner of our marketplace strategy, you’ll oversee paid media investments, eCommerce operations, and cross-functional collaboration, making a direct impact on revenue growth, customer acquisition, and brand visibility across key digital retail channels. You’ll also have the opportunity to mentor and develop a high-performing team while fostering a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and accountability.

What You'll Do:

This role will be responsible for leading, optimizing, and scaling Ritual’s digital marketplace and retail media strategy.

Marketplace Growth & Strategy
  • Develop and execute Ritual’s strategy for Amazon and TikTok Shop, driving revenue growth through merchandising, advertising, and promotions.
  • Oversee Amazon PPC, DSP, SEO, and catalog management, ensuring best-in-class execution.
  • Lead TikTok Shop growth, leveraging social commerce trends, influencer partnerships, and paid media.
  • Stay ahead of platform updates and algorithm changes to maintain a competitive edge.
Retail Media & Omni-channel Performance
  • Optimize retail media investments across Target.com, Instacart, and other key retail partners.
  • Develop full-funnel paid media strategies that balance brand awareness and conversions.
  • Build and execute co-marketing strategies with retail partners and external agencies.
  • Align omni-channel performance insights with Ritual’s broader business strategy.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Lead, mentor, and empower an eCommerce team, fostering a culture of inclusion and innovation.
  • Collaborate with Growth, Brand, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to integrate marketplace insights into business strategy.
  • Manage external partners, retail media networks, and platform relationships to drive success.
  • Develop testing roadmaps to continuously refine ad placements, creative, and promotional strategies.
Performance Optimization & Reporting
  • Own forecasting, budget management, and CAC targets for marketplaces and retail media.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, optimize campaigns, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Implement A/B testing strategies to refine creative, audience targeting, and messaging.
  • Provide executive-level reporting on KPIs, investment impact, and growth opportunities.

What You Need:
  • Proven leadership experience, with a track record of building and managing high-performing, diverse teams.
  • Expertise in Amazon, TikTok Shop, and retail media networks (e.g., Target Roundel, Instacart Ads).
  • Strong background in budget management, forecasting, and performance analytics.
  • Experience in performance marketing, including Amazon Ads, DSP, PPC, and programmatic media.
  • Deep understanding of omni-channel marketing strategies and retail media’s role in the digital ecosystem.
Must-have experience in:
  • Amazon Ads Console (PPC, DSP), Amazon Seller Central.
  • TikTok Shop & social commerce strategies.
  • Retail Media Platforms (Target Roundel, Instacart Ads, etc.).
  • Looker (or other BI analytics platforms).
  • Excel/Google Sheets for forecasting & data analysis.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay Range: $130,000 - $193,000.
  • Your base salary is one part of your total compensation package. The salary range represents the entire compensation range for this position. Exact compensation will depend on a number of factors, which may include the successful candidate's skills, level, years of experience, technical expertise, and other qualifications. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. This role is also eligible for equity + generous benefits + 401k + unlimited PTO etc - see our list of perks/ benefits below.
