Black Creek is a master-planned community nestled in the mountains just 10 minutes from downtown Chattanooga. Residents enjoy walkable neighborhoods designed to harmonize with nature, with miles of public hiking trails, sports and leisure activities—including a golf course recognized among Golf Digest’s Best Courses in Tennessee—year-round events, seasonal celebrations, and world-class dining at Black Creek Club. With options ranging from intimate cottages to spacious estates, Black Creek offers a home for every generation.
The community’s mountaintop development, The Pass, is under construction and will feature over 200 new homes in the first phase, with future phases to include more than a thousand homes, a small commercial village, and community amenities.
DIRECTOR OF MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS
Position Summary:
Black Creek is looking for a Director of Marketing & Communications to own our day-to-day marketing and communications, freeing our leadership team to focus on strategy and growth.
You’ll help shape our annual marketing plan, turn it into a working calendar, lead our agency and PR partners, and own the content that reaches prospects, residents, club members, agents, and builders. You’ll write, edit, and hold the standard for accuracy and brand voice across everything we publish.
This is a hands-on director role. You’ll lead through agency and vendor partners rather than direct reports, working directly with senior leadership on how a growing community tells its story, with room to build an internal team as we grow.
It’s an exciting time to join, as Black Creek enters its biggest growth phase to date. The role suits someone who enjoys variety over specialization, moving between writing, agency management, events, and community partnerships rather than going deep in one lane.
