Job description

Description

The Director of Marketing will be the senior marketing leader for The Kinsley Group, with responsibility for brand strategy, demand generation, digital marketing, communications, content, events, recruiting support and sales enablement. This role is built for a high-performing marketing director who can set strategy, lead execution, write clearly, manage vendors, support sales leaders and build measurable marketing programs that help Kinsley grow.

A major focus of the role is energy-sector marketing leadership. The Director will position Kinsley across onsite power generation, generator service, rentals, distributed energy, CHP, microgrids, battery energy storage, maintenance agreements and related customer needs. The role also owns RHELKO marketing compliance and partner alignment, including proper brand use, program participation, claims discipline and co-op marketing coordination.

The Director will lead the launch and ongoing growth of the new WordPress website, improve HubSpot adoption, build a practical content engine and create a marketing operating cadence tied to qualified leads, market visibility, sales support, recruiting strength and brand consistency.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand Leadership and Energy Market Positioning
  • Serve as the day-to-day steward of the Kinsley brand across all public-facing material, internal communications and business unit marketing.
  • Tell the Kinsley story with a clear, active and practical voice that reflects our service culture, technical expertise and founder-led values.
  • Maintain consistent use of Kinsley brand standards across the website, proposals, social media, recruiting material, email campaigns, events, signage and sales collateral.
  • Develop market messaging that connects rentals, service, industrial power generation, home standby, CHP, microgrids, BESS and Kinsley Energy Systems under one clear Kinsley brand.
  • Build awareness of Kinsley as a trusted Northeast energy partner for onsite power, generator service, rentals, distributed energy and long-term customer support.
RHELKO Compliance and Partner Marketing
  • Own RHELKO marketing compliance, brand usage, co-op marketing administration and promotional alignment for applicable Kinsley businesses.
  • Coordinate with internal leaders and OEM partner contacts to ensure campaigns, product messaging, visuals and claims meet required standards.
  • Track partner marketing requirements, deadlines, program submissions and approval processes.
  • Support product launches, dealer programs, customer communications and partner-led campaigns with disciplined execution and clear accountability.
  • Protect both the Kinsley brand and RHELKO brand standards in all market-facing activity.
Website, Digital Marketing and Content Engine
  • Lead the launch, management and continuous improvement of the new WordPress website.
  • Build a content calendar that supports search visibility, lead generation, recruiting and business unit growth.
  • Create and coordinate technical content, customer stories, case studies, project highlights, videos, social posts, landing pages and email campaigns.
  • Improve website performance through practical attention to SEO, conversion paths, analytics, content quality and user experience.
  • Manage outside agencies, designers, photographers, writers, web vendors and marketing technology partners when required.
HubSpot, Demand Generation and Sales Enablement
  • Own HubSpot marketing utilization, campaign tracking, email marketing, lead capture, segmentation and reporting in partnership with sales leadership.
  • Build repeatable campaigns that generate qualified opportunities and improve lead handoff to sales.
  • Support sales teams with presentations, proposal content, email templates, one-page capability summaries, customer follow-up material and market-specific campaigns.
  • Help sales leaders strengthen pipeline discipline through cleaner lead disposition, better content, campaign visibility and measurable marketing contribution.
  • Use marketing data to evaluate campaign effectiveness and recommend adjustments based on evidence, not guesswork.
Business Unit Support
  • Support rental power growth through targeted campaigns, branch-level promotion, event support and customer-facing material.
  • Support service growth through maintenance messaging, customer education, technician recruiting and lifecycle support content.
  • Support industrial sales with technical-market content, vertical campaigns, account-based marketing and trade show execution.
  • Support home standby generator growth through residential content, dealer messaging, seasonal campaigns and local market visibility.
  • Support Kinsley Energy Systems through content and sales enablement for CHP, microgrids, BESS, service agreements and distributed energy opportunities.
Events, Recruiting and Internal Support
  • Plan and execute trade shows, customer events, open houses, branch events, recruiting events and community engagement activities.
  • Partner with Human Resources to strengthen recruiting campaigns, job postings, employer brand content and candidate-facing material.
  • Promote Kinsley as a place where great people build long-term careers.
  • Coordinate photography, employee stories, project highlights and field content that show the strength of Kinsley people and capabilities.
  • Bring organization, urgency and follow-through to marketing requests across the company.
TRAVEL

Approximately 25% travel across the Northeast is expected. Travel will include branch visits, trade shows, customer events, recruiting events, vendor meetings and business unit support.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin.
