Job summary

Panther Life Sciences Corporation is looking for a Director of Manufacturing Operations in New York City. This role will oversee the transition from R&D to reliable, high-quality manufacturing of novel health and beauty products.

The successful candidate will build the manufacturing function from scratch, impacting product availability and customer experience. Responsibilities include managing relationships with CDMO partners and scaling production volumes significantly.

Applicants should have experience in regulated environments, especially with medical devices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience scaling a product from R&D to commercial manufacturing in a regulated environment.
• Experience overseeing manufacturing operations for a Class II or III medical device.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technology transfer and process scale-up.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary relationship owner and day-to-day point of contact for CDMO partners.
• Lead technology transfer from R&D to clinical and commercial manufacturing.
• Build the manufacturing line from the ground up with a path from ~10K to ~1M units per month.
