Job summary

Applied Materials is seeking a senior manufacturing executive to lead operations at the Gloucester and Newburyport sites in Massachusetts. You will drive strategic plans, budgets, and KPIs, while guiding site managers to meet production, safety and quality targets.

You will optimize resources, champion Lean, 6S, and continuous improvement to maximize throughput and on-time delivery, escalating issues and collaborating with senior leadership to align with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading manufacturing ops.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, 6S and CI methodologies.
• Ability to align site strategy with business goals and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for planning, execution and improvement of manufacturing operations.
• Set production targets, budgets, KPIs (safety, quality, delivery, cost) and drive corrective action.
• Optimize resource use and capacity across two sites to ensure on-time delivery.
• Direct and develop the Manufacturing Team to meet production goals and safety standards.
• Lead continuous improvement to reduce costs and improve quality and throughput.
• Identify and implement solutions to increase throughput and profitability.
• Coordinate with senior management to align site strategy with business needs.
