CTL Aerospace is a full-service, NADCAP certified composite-manufacturing company providing services to major aerospace and governmental affiliates specializing in the manufacturing of Fiber Reinforced Polymer Structures since 1946.

Job Description
We are seeking a talented, hands-on professional to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment as the Director of Manufacturing at our northern Cincinnati, Ohio location. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a hands-on senior management professional with career goals to work in an empowered setting with a broad scope of authority. As a Director of Manufacturing, you will lead a team of professionals in planning and manufacturing operations of fabricating, finishing, assembling, and final preparation of products. Reporting to the President/Chief Operating Officer.

Job Requirements

1. Develop production schedules.
2. Create and maintain the Master schedule in Plex.
3. Responsible and accountable for results in terms of cost, methods, quality, and quantity of production operations and personnel.
4. Maintain production schedules, quality, safety, and cost standards.
5. Expedite production activities as necessary to maintain an uninterrupted flow of production to meet scheduled deadlines.
6. Investigate serious production delays, initiate remedial action, and coordinate related problems with engineering, purchasing, material control, and cost.
7. Supervise the allocation of material, manpower, and equipment resources.
8. Prepare production, operating, and budget reports.
9. Enforce rules, regulations, and policies.
10. Maintain positive labor relations.

Job Qualifications

1. Degreed Industrial Engineer or Manufacturing Engineering Tech degree.
2. US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
3. 10 years demonstrated success in shop operations is a must.
4. Aerospace experience preferred.
5. Ability to interact with people on the floor, good team building skills, and able to work with diverse work groups.
6. A good understanding of the ERP operating systems; Plex experience a plus.
7. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
8. Ability to be 'Hands-on' and roll up sleeves to work in a manufacturing environment.
