Presbyterian SeniorCare Network’s Manchester Commons in Erie, PA seeks a Director of Maintenance to oversee the maintenance department, ensuring the safe and orderly condition of all grounds and buildings within the community. This full-time role offers a starting salary of $66,700 to $85,000 annually, depending on experience.

The Director will lead a maintenance team, manage daily operations, and collaborate with leadership to support resident services in a multi-level care setting.

Qualifications

• Five years of direct maintenance experience with at least two years in a campus leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Proven ability to supervise, interview, hire, train, and evaluate staff.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance department operations at Manchester Commons to ensure safety and orderliness of grounds and buildings.
• Lead and develop a maintenance team, schedule tasks, and address issues promptly.
• Collaborate with administration to support resident care services as needed.

Requirements for the Director of Maintenance:

• Five years of direct maintenance experience with a minimum of two years of leadership experience in a campus setting. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage a team including supervisory responsibility for interviewing, hiring, and training team members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Demonstrated knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office 365.
• Must be able to work independently and deal effectively with all levels of the organization.
