Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years' experience in security/loss prevention or related field.
• 2-year degree in Criminal Justice or related major with 2 years' security/loss prevention experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists in developing and implementing emergency procedures.
• Conducts investigations of losses and refers to proper management for disposition.
• Deploys Loss Prevention staff to monitor and protect property assets.
• Complies with Corporate Loss Prevention safety and security guidelines and procedures.
• Conducts periodic patrols of property and parking areas.
• Handles complaints, settles disputes, and negotiates with others.
• Identifies hazards and recommends risk-reduction measures.
• Implements action plans to monitor and control risk.
• Maintains patrol reports and documentation.
• Coordinates with local law enforcement and informs executives timely.
• Provides guidance to supervisors and associates on safety procedures.

Education

High school diploma or GED; 4 years' experience in the security/loss prevention or related professional area.

2-year degree from an accredited university in Criminal Justice or related major; 2 years' experience in the security/loss prevention or related professional area.
